EXHIBITION: 4 DAYS TO GO. YIKES!

Day 7

We had a Spring Fundraiser assembly this morning. The student who brought in the most money got to pie Mr. Oliver in the face. Students also got to silly string Mrs. Hocevar and myself. The Grade 6s told me that this was revenge for all the hard work they are doing on exhibition. At the end of the day, many students got to relax while attending the dance party.

We spent the rest of our class time working on exhibition. Five groups managed to practice their oral presentations. Each of these groups received more feedback on how to improve their slideshow. All groups should finalise all changes to their slideshows and memorise their lines for Monday.

Students got to use the green screen for their French components again today. This was our second practice using the green screen, devices, and apps. We did not get to shoot all our videos. Students should have all devices, apps, costumes and props needed for their French component at school again on Monday. They should also choose a background for their newscast and appoint a cameraperson to shoot the video.  It is important that everyone memorise their French lines!
Students used other class time to work on their standing display.

Exhibition groups are still working on their action components. As part of their action component for Exhibition, Jerry and Akash have sent home a small checklist for students to complete.
The ordering system for May lunch is up and be open until Friday, April 28 at 4:00 PM. All lunch payments are due Monday, May 1.

Clothing iron-on name labels are now available through Alpa.
